FELLOWSHIP NEWS
Sadly Ken Smith has decided to step down as Deacon, a role he has undertaken for many years. We would like to thank him for all that he has done during his time as a deacon. We were thrilled to share Easter Sunday services with Willow Joan’s dedication and to have a full church. Hallelujah! We know several of our fellowship are unwell at this time and ask you to bring them before God in prayer.
Homeless Memorial Service. We have been approached by the Homeless Support Project to hold a memorial service to remember the homeless who have died over the past two years (an alarming number). Val has agreed to hold a memorial service on Thursday May 2nd at 1.30pm, where the 19 people will be respectfully remembered. Open to all.
BIBLE STUDY SESSIONS MAY 7th, , 21st, 28th 1pm gather for soup and a sandwich (provided) and then study starts at 1.30pm for about an hour or so.
PERSECUTED BELIEVERS- the awful news came in later on Easter Sunday of the targeted terrorist attacks on Christians in Sri Lanka attending Easter Day services. Please pray for all those affected. Similarly in our troubled world please pray for the victims and families of those Muslims massacred in a Mosque in New Zealand last month.

Lord help me to speak lovingly to others today. I should like to think I am going to be your love in my part of the world today. And I realise that means I must not become irritated or impatient. Help me Lord to be less like me and more like you. AMEN ©Derek Valentine
